Thumbs up long trans cooler installed

i finally got my trans cooler installed today, i went to autozone and got some pre flared tubes bent them and cut them to work with the stock lines, and i used nut and ferule tube couplers to connect them to the stock lines. I did cut the stock lines, but if i sell the truck ill just get a couple more nut and ferule couplers and couple the stock lines back together, so i can keep my cooler.

Yep it came with a whole bag of stuff including those brackets and brass hose barb fittings and a rubber hose that i didnt use, I borrowed a tubing cutter and bender, and I got the couplings from work (freebie). The pre flared line that i got from autozone was only 5.49. I used the factory bolts for the brackets and then just a couple of 1/2 inch long 1/4-20's to bolt the cooler to the brackets, it only took about a half hour to install.

Looks real good, I like how you have it plumbed with hard line all the way...good to know that the tubing is so cheap too, I may consider this route in the future.

i cant say that its plumbed hard line all the way, because there is still rubber hose in the factory lines, but hopefully it wont leak. As far as it goes there is no more rubber hose there than factory.

do you remember what the thread size was on the pre flared tubing? I'm assuming the tube itself was 3/8
