Default please help, converter question!!!!!

i have a 99 nbs silverado with a 5.3 and im biulding my transmission, and i need a new converter, can i use a converter off of a 98 nbs camaro z28? will it work ? any differences?? need info asap

I am not an expert, but I believe the 99+ trucks require a different converter - one with a larger pilot bearing and some other little subtleties. This was the case with my 2000 at least.

Sales Pitch:
I've got a used 2000 stall that has the larger bearing, etc. that is for sale. It's from Suncoast Transmissions:Suncoast Transmissions in Ft Walton Beach, FL
Used for 11 months behind my Whipple, it stalled to about 2400. I'm gonna list it here tonight after I take some pics for $250 shipped (vs. $350 + tax new) in the continental 48. PM me if yer interested.
