Unbolt it from the front axle, take the little metal clamp off the rubber dirt shield at the back and it should slide right out of the transfer case...

4 bolts hold it on to the front diff, push it backwards into the t-case , drop it down a little bit to clear the front yoke, and it should just pull out of the t-case.

Long screw driver up into the joint and pry it loose, careful not to damage the caps.

Take the rear drive shaft out. Its easy, and pull the front drive shaft out of the transfer case also.

+1 for everything these guys said. While you have it apart make sure you check the needle bearings on the U Joint.

Yep rear driveshaft still has to come out. When you unbolt the t-case from the trans, it will have to slide back quite a bit to disengage it from the trans output shaft, then you will have to tilt it with the tailshaft housing pointed straight up to get it out without spilling any autotrac fluid. It would also be a good idea to pull the vent tube off of the nipple on top of the t-case and put a vacuum cap on there, otherwise you'll get fluid coming out the vent on the top.
