Default Pinion correction shims

I just installed 2 inch hangers and 2 inch shackles on a 2000 REGULAR cab truck.Which way does the pinion correction shims go?

The correct way to correct your pinion angle. Depends if you have a flip kit or not.

What does your pinion angle look like now? Have you measured it? Is it pointed up or pointed down?
