Default pick a converter for me

Here's a challenge for you. Tell me what is the perfect converter for me.

Truck pictured below weighs over 6000lbs, makes over 500rwhp(soon to be 700 I hope), is my daily driver, is 4wd, and will be run at the track in 4wd.

my primary concern is drivability. I do not tow/haul anything.

I currently have a Yank SC3000. The trans is being rebuilt starting Monday. I'm either gonna have the Yank inspected/freshened up, OR I'm gonna get a new converter.

Opinions please

In a perfect world, you want a converter that's rated 500-700 rpm's below where you make peak torque. Some setups just can't do that and still be very streetable. In your case with the KB it most likely makes peak or very good torque low enough that you could run a 2500-3000 converter and get the results your looking for, good driveability and track performance.

I'm mostly looking for an excuse to buy a new one so I don't have to wait the week it will take for mine to get sent out, cleaned up, and sent back, lol. The trans will most likely only take a few days according to the dude who's doing it

I have the same converter, stalled to 2800. I am thinking of going a little tighter but haven't made up my mind yet...I'll probably just send it in for inspection and flush when I have the trans refreshed..

I personally did not like the Driveability of my 3000 PI but really really like the 2600 Yank I have now! Being Supercharged you don't wanna loose to much of your low end with too high a stall.
