due to transit time shipping from NH to NV and back I think I'm gonna buy a new one and sell this one. Anyone have any offers? It really should go back to Yank to get cleaned etc. they charge $250 for that service.

So my new converter showed up on Friday. I had a SC3000 in there. I ordered a brand new SC3000. They shipped me a SC3000. It doesn't fit, lol.

after going around and around Dave figured out that what I had in there was actually a custom made converter that was marked SC3000 because it has the same specs.

It is a 13" instead of 11" and it fits the 6.0L/4L80E flat flexplate instead of the 6.0L/4L65E flexplate.

This of course means I now have to find and purchase a flexplate made for a 6.0L/65E truck.

Anywho, the 13" version is going to Yank today to be cut/cleaned etc. If anyone wants it I am selling it for $550 shipped. I can include my stock flexplate and spacer if you need it.

PM me.

lmao, i love that.

I should have known better. Should have just shipped the converter back to yank, had them cut/clean it and re-installed it. I didn't want to wait that long and neither did the trans guy. hahahahahah, now look. today was 2 weeks. It isn't done yet. He ordered the flex plate but the bolts are different too. had to order those. Won't be done till tomorrow barring any other issues.

now i'm not ******* laughing. The flexplate Yank told the trans guy to get does NOT fix the issue. Now I have a used converter that does fit but can't be put back in until it is cut and cleaned and a New converter that is completely worthless.

to make matters worse the truck needs to be out of his parking lot tomorrow at the latest. I'm gonna jump off a ******* bridge
