patc 6 pinion planatery?

im looking at the patc power gear setup .its supose to give u better take off .any one tried it yet??

i did a 7 pinion on a 4l65 read up on it people claim almost half second gains

i would not now the difrence since that is the only 65 it has seen so have nothing to compare to........Now a friend who holds the 5.3 na record did it on his the truck dynoed **** some where in the 370s i think ran 12.7 i beleive with out it and 11.9 with it donmt qoute me on that but i think that is how it went lol

yeah i got a 4l60e on my 08 gmc.the tranny is decently hooked up and i wanted try this so im asking on who has expierience with these planateries. thanks ,i know in the valley there being used but no one really talks bout them much

people complain about the high 1st gear (2.48) in an 80E and here are folks putting 2.84 1st gear in 60Es and getting better times.. hum..

It looks like the biggest improvement about the new gears is the rpm drop from 1-2. keeps you in the powerband longer. Might be worth checking it out.
