Default Patc

I just received my 6l80 clutch hubs from PATC. Pin hole in the weld between hub and shaft. Right side of the weld. Metal is flaking off inside the hub on the back side of the weld. I don't think the hole goes all the way through. I can buff the metal flakes off the inside. I need to know if it's ok to use or send back?

I would send it back, that one is defective and a problem waiting to happen. A hole in the weld like that means there is an impurity present that gassed out during the weld, which means that there may be other pockets in the weld that you can't see.
