Default Opinions/videos of how your stall/cam combo daily drive!!

Got a 212/218 114 low lift cam going in soon plan on having the transmission rebuilt with new tq converter since I read positive on positive reviews about them.

I'm new to the converter world. As you all know this cam will run fine with the stock stall, but much healthier with higher stall

I'm looking at something that doesn't flash and drives like the stock stall till over half throttle.

I do love the mpgs of the stock stall so could this be kept in mind getting a new stall around 2600?

I can only find videos of 3000+ on youtube nothing really below.
These stalls are constantly above 2000+ rpm just eat fuel

Adding a higher stall converter will eat more gas, no doubt there. But if you drive mostly on the highway, you are in lock up so - so no RPM difference. For a DD with a small cam, I suggest our 278mm 3000, they really make the truck much more entertaining to drive. Typical results are a loss of 1-2 MPGs, assuming you can keep your foot out of it when just cruising. Be happy to help... just let me know if you have any more questions.

Mostly city and towing for got to mention that. Wowzers I love your 3000 stall when you get on it towards the end of the video. Bad ***! I totally see how they take some time off the 1/4 mile.

Im just not liking the 2000+ rpm, my truck screams from 2000-3000rpm. I guess im trading the stock stall half throttle lowend pull for the 3000 stall badass over half throttle pull.

The truck gets floored maybe once a month so I think a lower stall would be better for my application/ style of driving.

I would love to see a 2600 stall video

My Yank SC3000 would only stall about 2500-2600 in a N/A cam only truck. It's also very efficient, you can tow with it, and it's for sale in the classifieds.

I have the exact same cam as you assuming yours is the comp low lift. I have a circle d 2800 stall (no vids yet-still needs a retune, Justin's taking care of that nov 7th. What little I have driven does make me wish I had gone with a lower stalling converter like stockish or the tb converter. I can tell it takes more throttle to get moving. We will see after it gets tuned. Either way I'm not changing it out again so ill get used to it lol

mangled03gmc is that a procharger I hear? lol that's a sick ride you have

I'm assuming a set of 3.73 gears would be perfect match for a stall correct?
