Default one more converter question for me i promise!!!

I have A yank converter that stalls at 3000 rpm and a vigilante converter that stalls between 2600-2800 rpm which one do you guys think would be the best for my application????? I have a 1999 GMC sierra 1/2 ton RCSB with a 5.3L. I have as far as modifications intake, mass air meter,throttle body spacer,coolant bypass,4.11 gears, exhaust (muffler, headers), computer reprogrammed,and rock-on tranny level 4 with a shift kit. thanks for your guyes help!!!!!!!!!!!

If you plan on doing anything else down the road (like a cam) then go ahead and use the Yank. I would probably use it anyway.

I think part of it depends on what you do with your truck. If you tow then I'd go the 2600 route. If it were my truck where it sees 4wd off road (site prep area) and tows often I'd go with 2600. If you go to 3K i think that lowers your towing rating to almost half of stock (read yanks site for the exact answer).
