Anyone have or know where I can get an old style ( with out the spacer plate) 4l80e transgo shift kit from? I have the updated version of the hd2 and it does not have gear command, and I would just like to have gear command as an option.

 

I'd send you the gear command option in my old kit... you just need to verify it would work in a new kit Sorry if I'm not much help

I must have the whole kit because the new one was designed with out it in mind.

If Vince doesn't have a new (old) kit then check around on ebay and start calling or emailing some of the big transmission vendors there like Oregon Performance. Transmission Parts USA is another one.
