i found a celever thread about using a russel flare fitting

part number is 640281 u can use -3 an hose for hydraulic line!

I am running this set up and a 90* on the end that conects to the master cylinder. I have my line run through the firewall and coming back out into the trans tunnel to keep it away from the heat of my headers. I really like it.

thought of somehting i am going to fab up to have a shorter throw in shifts....
this is a gt500 shifter, but this is what it will look like. the throw will be adjustable.

It's an idea, but won't that put the shifter too far "back" in the vehicle?
