7.4 Gen III? and no...you cant reuse the truck slave cylinder assembly. Read through the thread, there are several posts from several people with exactly what is needed....

Where i live currently has nothing to do with this, the slander will get you banned fast.

Truck slave cylinder is for a the nv3500 5 speed, you need one for the T-56.

I know a damn 7.4 is a big block. Im just trying to figure out why you would go backwards in technology. As far as putting a T-56 behind it. You might be on your own...this thread is meant for doing the swap behind a GEN III Engine.

Why wont the nv3500 slave not work??? Ls1 style and the nv3500 bolt to the same spot on the trani with 2 bolts. I did see alot of complaints about line length. Since I wouldnt have that issue. If you dont know just say that and maybe someone else who does can answer.

1. To me the LS1 slave assembly looks smaller.
2. The big block is in an 85 silverado

4. LSX is reference to basically the GEN III and GEN IV motors...again it doesn't take a GM engineer to figure that out.

Rant over...
