Default odd 1-2 shifts

Had a cam and new tune installed and what a difference. I had the tune done with added shift firmness. Since the new tune, the 1-2 shifts kinda suck. If I accelerate slowly, there is a quick "double" bump before shifting to 2nd gear. If I accelerate more than "normal" then I the 1-2 shift is "pretty firm" and there is no "double" bump.

I am requesting a new tune without the shift firmness.

Anyone else with increased shift firmness from a tune have the same issue?

i had the HyperJunk3 and it was something similiar. it wasnt anything double, but it shifted like ***. it never could decide between OD and 3rd, constant shift and downshift. but was fine without the HPP3, so i gave Nelson a call... Problem fixed.

Jim,
I would say return them to stock, besides, you are getting the shift kit installed soon anyway huh? it'll be plenty firm then, if you want more you can do the two servos...

The new tune I requested was back to stock. I have the shift kit sitting here with 2 servos but can't find a tranny guy to install it. They all seem like they are not interested. Can't wait to get it done. You are right, it will be plenty firm. My brother in law had a b&m done in his truck (tranny guy kept his truck for a week) and it shifts plenty firm.
