Wait do what?I have a stall dude...my rpm are no higher than before....Once the converter locks its as if a stock verter was in there and thats how yours should be as well.
The less rpm drop is only when you shift it drops 300 less than the stocker basically if you dropped to 3000 before when you upshift you should only drop to 3300...But this has no effect on locked performance. If yours is making you have higher rpms while the verter is locked then something is wrong with that converter.

maybe im mistaken i dunno. the converter is fine i know that much i was just letting him know his rpms will drop less between shifts. mine locks up fine and maybe i just never paid attention to it before the verter.

It depends on how loose the converter is. At 20mph a 3k converter will be sliping till it locks up. If you hammer it it will flash up to 3k or more and start pulling and will lock at a higher mph.

Prob. so cause if it locks up fine then you should pull the same rpms you did before. My before 70mph 1942-1955.
After verter 70 mph still 1942-1955.

under light acceleration in city driving you will probably be between 2000 and 2500 rpms the whole time. it will hurt your mileage but it will probably be one of the best mods you can do. under the stock tune (no verter corrections) you willl lock up about 45-55 mph under light-mild acceleration. if you stomp on it, with just a 3k you probably wouldnt notice any lock-up speed because you would be higher than 3000rpm until you let off the throttle

Why do you say it's real fun on the highway?

Because the shift extensions are shorter...when i go from 1-2nd for example, my rpms gp from 6600 to 4200+ dumping me in second and pulling hard.
