Default no TCC after shiftkit install.

Got it all done has all forward gears and reverse perfectly. Where should I look I'm thinking the converter ISO valve assembly. Everything went together perfect and the truck only has a notch over 20K miles on it. It is setting trans slip code and it will not lock using my tech 2 and commanding it to 100%. Does anything else done during the shiftkit install effect converter oiling circuits. I also used new gm valvebody and spacer plate gaskets. It's a transgo hd-2. in an 07 old body style sierra.

on the servo cover on the side of the trans. . . . the 4th gear servo, the smallest one . . . be sure that that the flat side is pointed out, and not inward.

installing it backwards looks right, but it will not allow it to lockup

Is the iso-converter valve in the right way? Should have the threaded end toward the outside of the valve body and the blue spring should be installed first. Could you have damaged one of the TCC solenoids when you removed them? I would pull the pan and check for anything obvious, and double check everything you did. Also with the Tech 2, turn the key on with the engine off, and command each solenoid on and off and you should be able to hear them clicking.

This is the first thing I would look at from what you describe. You will get no lock up with the Transgo converter regulator valve installed backwards.

Going to drop it after work today. Gotta finish a clutch on a powerstroke before I can get my truck up after 5.

I got worked perfect. I put the stock iso valve assembly back in with a tweak that performabilt told me to use and all is well. I love the way it shifts now much better than stock. A tune is next in order to get rid of all the TM.
