Just installed a new 4L60E trans i've checked and double checked everything and everything looks good. Problem is the truck runs good for about 3-4 minutes
when it warms up the trans starts making a ticking noise and starts to free rev like its half way in gear. The truck kind of moves but not really. Any ideas?

 

sounds like the shifter linkage is out of adjustment

 

I think you should contact your builder and see what he has to say. This sounds like you have a damaged pump or convertor loosing pressure.
