Default New Tranny Options.

Please help me choose a new tranny. My swap is for reliability / longevity purposes only with little to no towing on a stock converter. No drag strip, limited street fun, with about 380/420 at the wheels on an AWD SSS. If you select "Other Builder" please give some details...Shop name, cost, and why you like them.

I do not think that your truck will really need an 80 for what you are planning on doing with it. I think one of our level 5 builds will support your vehicle nicely. Also when shopping for a unit make sure that you are comparing apples to apples. We install many new and custom parts in our units that most companies over look. Just keep that in mind. Vince

I am leaning heavily towards one of your trannies. I was going to call you guys next week and ask a few quesions...but here is just as good. Is there anything that you would do different to a LVL 5 4L65 to build it for 80K worth of reliability?
