what does it stall to in a truck? anyone using them?

Buy a 3000 converter, leave your rear end alone and get sum sticky's already!

Not gonna hijack you here but I've got sumthin' serious goin' in soon...
We should hit the drags a couple more times before the leaves drop

Oops sorry about that . I Have a buddy who got his trany rebuilt, and its supposed to have a vette converter in it. It stalls to about 2000.

I am thinking of using a vig2800 from from a f-body. I saw a dyno graph of it at the yank website and it was very efficient. It supposed to stall at 3200 with stock 5.7L. I predict it would stall around 2600-2800 with the 4.8L.

I think the main advantage would be less weight with the smaller converter.
