Default New Leaf Springs

My father 99 RCSB needs a set of new leaf springs.

Has anyone replaced these before to recommend or give reviews on brand/place to purchase.

I know I could get them re-arched but they are just shot, reversed arched with no load and rusted out. Between towing a boat, age, and midwest rust they are done.

I just had the bed off to replace his drivers side shackle that broke clean off due to rust.

TIA

Depending on your dads budget I would suggest a set of deavers they are pretty much the best leaf springs you can buy but arent exactly cheap.

If your dads truck has the single (technically i think there are three, the big main one a smaller one and then a little short piece under it all) leaf pack, upgrade to a set of at least 5 leaf if youre towing with it!!! Some of the z71s had good springs and the 2500hd springs will bolt in

I bought a set for mine. I believe I got the 5 pack. You can also get the new bolts from the same site.
