ok so i read the sticky and i got my trans connector off the 4l60e the blue connector off and cut then i got the one off my 4l80e the green connector and the sticky is showing different colors on the wires any body help me im doing the swap and this is all i like is wiring it up. I have 2 solid pink wires and 2 yellow/black wires

i have already read that post and the colors on my trans connector are different than them i have no violet/ lt green wire coming from my 4l60e trans wiring to wire into the violet/ red wire on the 4l80e trans connector.there are a couple of wires that are the same color as the diagram that the post you quoted but they dont match up my trucks a 2001 and the 4l80e in a 2003. if needed i will take pictures of the wires for you in the morning.I am doing a 4l80e conversion and wiring the connector up for the 4l80e to the 4l60e wiring harness is all i have left to do .

 

So your puttin a 80E in your 2001?
kinda confused.

i put a 2004 80E in my 2000..

all i did was swap the brown and white wires on the Trans connector.
Used the Gear selector switch off my 65E.
Connector to the front speed sensor and run those wires to the PCM..

 

i dont have a brown and white wire on mine is what im trying to say and yes i am puttin a 4l80e in my 2001 silverado.

 

AH!! can you get a list of what wires you have on the truck..
