Just need a replacement, and what would be a ball park figure?

What's you last 8 digits on your vin #?

There are 2 diffrent one's available from GM. The price is around $2212.00 retail.

But most dealers will come off that...I know that I cut them lower.

I had to buy one awhile ago I think that I paid around 1600 for one at the dealer with trading in the core.
It was for a rcsb Z71 bone stock and the tranny died at 60k

I am looking for a 5 speed NV3500 right now for my 96 chevy. Most places I am seeing are about 1000.
