Default Need Opinions

Currently I have 3" Belltech drop springs, I am planning/needing to replace the ball joints and was thinking of just putting the DJM 3" drop LCA. Would it sit a little higher or lower with the arms instead of the springs. I have heard it will ride smoother too. Will this help the angle of the upper ball joint?

leave the springs in. the LCA's basically drop the same way by lowering the spring pockets. geometry will be close to identical either way.

I was under the impression that the LCA's were a 2" drop...

Thanks 454.. What would give me the ride quality as stock and still keep it as low as it is. I guess I was going this way to avoid drilling out the rivets on the old ball joints. Bud, StylinTrucks has 3" drop arms they are about $300 a pair.
