Need new rear end ASAP, Need Info!

Blew the rear end. Need a new one. It can be rebuilt but probably not worth it. Especially with the engine swap down the road. Can anyone suggest what I can replace my rear end with that wont kill the bank? 12 bolt/14 bolt and even maybe a ford 9 inch that doesnt need much custom fabrication and from what trucks and years? thanks,
Mike

what about a 14 bolt FF will that bolt up? I think those are all 8 lug tho but not sure. What kinds of power will these things handle? I am planning a heads/cam LS1 swap in the near future and some other mods. Probably be close to 500ftlbs or torque. Can these 14 bolts handle that?

If I can find a 14 bolt Full Floating I am pretty sure I can get custom 6 lug axel shafts cheap enough. The other worry is I hear these things are heavy as hell and there are ground clearence problems. While I am not trying to make my truck a race car I do still want the thing to move after all the money I dump into it. It is stock z71 height right now but Im planning on lowering it just a few inches but that depends on the rubbing of the tires. I do occasionally tow with it on dirt roads and crap as well. I just dont wanna get myself into trouble here. What do you guys think? I read someone say this thing weighs like 500lbs over a 10 bolt or something crazy like that. Is that true?

Hmmm, I only have full exhaust and intake on my 95 TBI 5.7L and I broke it doing a 3 second burn out. Must have already been really weak that should have never happend. But since it blew and I am planning on big power numbers in the near future with an engine swap I want to do this once and right the first time. Will a 14 bolt SF hold up to my expected 500ftlbs or torque in the future? Also how much weight savings with that over the FF. What can you guys tell me about the Dana 60 rear end?
