need help picking a clutch..
#1
So I'm replacing my 4.8 with a 5.3 in the next week or two... In going to be keeping the standard trans for a while until I decide to go big. I'm thinking my clutch might be reaching the end of its life so why not change it out now for a upgraded one while the motors out. I'm going to be installing some goodies like LTs, ls6 cam and springs, BB tune, small shot of juice and a electric water pump/fan and maybe a few other things...
Anyways I'm having trouble finding a replacement that will hold extra power... I'm of course trying to do all of this on a almost nonexistent budget so the cheaper the better... I was able to find this but not sure if it will work Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch Kit - JCWhitney

Don't get the center force. The spring is to heavy, I had one on my truck it snapped the master cylinder of the firewall twice. Fwiw I have a stock replacement clutch in my truck now, 70k with no problems. Setup in sig.
