Need help identifying noise when braking

I was going to say it sounds like the pad clips. If the rotors are warped, they could pulse against the pads and cause the spring clips that go into the pistons to hold the pads on creek.

Also heard u-joints make this sound too, only at low speed, moving fast was fine.


I know, more possibilities is not helping narrow it down...LOL

toss it on a lift, or jack stands in your driveway, and test everything.

You could pull the caliper too and lube all the moving parts...if the noise goes away that you've found it.

Jordan hit the nail on the head, I changed my brakes this weekend and found a broken piece on the pad clips that was making the creaking sound. Replaced the part and noise is gone.
