There is a guy who offered me a Auburn Diff for my 10 bolt ( part number 542022). Do they hold up abuse on a ''stock'' truck? What additif goes in the oil ? can I use GM or have to buy auburn ? any info is greatly appreciated !

Ive had my auburn for about 2.5 years. Purchased it because I originally had no intentions of big power. Well, that went out the window, quickly. As my original 4.8 has been replaced with a procharged lq9 w/ full bolt ons. I beat my truck pretty hard from donuts and burnouts, to drag racing. Its held up, but I have noticed that its getting light on one side. If I had to do it again ill be running a TrueTrac
