nope the ls7 clutch is for the t56 and you dont have a t5 trans unless you swapped it

you should have the NV3500

I beleive the trans is a MG5, getreg 5 speed, just like the one in my '06. I am unsure of the clutch and I think you would have to have a T56 to run an LS7 setup, like nightrunner stated.

YEs you all are correct It is the NV3500, MG5, Getrag they are all the same except one has a granny gear. I have a 92 c/k1500 and it to has a NV3500 just older, lol. Red's my bro and I was just trying to toss some up the LS7 clutch out there to see if it would fit. What kind of clutches are you all using behind your setups?

I'm pretty sure yours has the Tremec TR-3450. It is very similar to the NV3500. There is a few changes the the outer case and the gearing is a little different. The NV3500 has a 4.02 first gear if I remember correctly and the TR3450 has a 3.82 first. My 05 has the Tremec and pretty sure they started the tremecs in 03. Your clutch is more like the older style and any LS T56 clutch won't work. I will say that I don't recommend a Centerforce dual friction with a hydraulic clutch system. I've had trouble with one as have many others.

I dunno. I was just guessing. I know my 05 had the tremec though.

Pretty sure the flywheels are the same for a 4.8 and 6.0
