Not really is it not the same like it was last month. It's weird. When I go WOT it reves then goes, will jump up in RPM's then drop a bit then it will start to grab. I dont really know how to explain it...

Well if my verter is going bad I would like to change just that instead of the trans also, plus I dont have a extra 2500 at the time or I would do it.

Ill bet there will be some xmas sales on trannys this year from some sponsors so keep your eye out for em and bite the bullet, I think I will be doing the same thing, but Im at 144k with the stocker. No problems but I have about a 5k mile trip planned in June for the wedding and I dont feel the need to risk it

If you put the converter in and then your old tranny goes it could put debris in your new converter, fing it up.You should run a bigger cooler with a stall, you don't won't to fill it with debris also.

The cooler is on my wish list. So you are saying that I should not install the new verter untill I get a new trans?

I think that I am still under warranty untill February or 8000 miles, so I think that I am going to try to have it fixed under warranty. I will have to take a look at my records to know for sure.
