Default My suspension sucks!

I'm using a Belltech 2 inch drop coil in the front and shackles and hangers in the back to reach a 4 inch drop. I also have the Belltech Nitro Drop shocks.

Let's be honest...it rides like total ***.

I've done it the cheap way, and it sucks. Now I'm ready to do it the right way, but how is that?

Are there coilover kits available for a 2003 RCSB? Are they any good?

To the guys who have been down this road, and now have it figured out, what suspension do you run?

I'm not sure what there is for 2wd guys (i'm not even sure if you are 2wd)

If you are 4WD - https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ersion-518118/

If you are 2WD, check out what ride tech has to offer. Going from memory, there are a couple 2wd guys with ridetech front coilovers.

Coils would be good, but if you just want most of your ride quality back put stock springs back in and get drop spindles, then ditch those crappy nitro shocks for something better, RideTech makes regular shocks too (I'm running them in the back).

I'm sure they do, but if not you can get the shock extension brackets. They are pretty cheap.

I'm running the 7.55" 22189841 shocks with a 7" drop in the back(and shock extenders), I think you will be good with the 8.35" 22199841 shocks.

For the front if you just want to do coils and keep the same drop the 5.2" ones will probably work the best with a 10" 800#-900# spring (depending on stiffness preferences). Other than the coils themselves all you need is their trunnion mount for the bottom and upgrade to the stud top, its all bolt-in.

I just got done doing the RideTech coil overs and StrongArm lower control arms in my '03. The ride is no comparison to stock! Way way better. I have the single adjustable shocks front and rear. The rears are the smooth body style. I had a 3/4 drop before. I measured the shock length at ride height and gave them the length. They then gave me the right stuff. I can't say enough good about them!

Thanks for all the input. I think ill measure the shocks at the ride height i want and give them a call. Hopefully the belltech springs will work ok with the ridetech shocks.

Thanks for the info. When you say 7.55'', 5.2'', and 8.35'' are you talking about the compressed length or the stroke?

It doesn't look like Ridtech has a 10'' spring rated at 800#s. Where did you find yours?
