Yes, I'm referring to the stroke length.

The place I bought my springs from was called ShockShop but the guy retired and I haven't really looked around for another source. I think if you call up RideTech they can get you the same springs, they just charge more, thats why I used the other company.

For the front if you just want to do coils and keep the same drop the 5.2" ones will probably work the best with a 10" 800#-900# spring (depending on stiffness preferences). Other than the coils themselves all you need is their trunnion mount for the bottom and upgrade to the stud top, its all bolt-in.
Im just now getting around to buying these. I've measured (18 in c2c) and it looks like the 8.35 will work in the back, and bolt right. For the front (12 1/4in), i'm going with the 5.75", but i have a question about the trunnion for the bottom.

Can I just reuse my stock trunnions, or must I spend $50 on theirs. And do you remember which size fits our trucks? 2 1/4- 2 9/16 or 2 5/16- 2 7/8??

No, the stock trunnion won't fit RT's shocks.

2.25-2.875" was the size I used pn. 90009990

Thanks. After talking to Ridetech, I ended up going with the 5.25 like you suggested. My static shock height of 12.25, and the fact that I will likely never extend the shock to its maximum, and more than likely will bottom it out, made me go with the smaller of the two shocks.

Jegs had the fronts on sale for $109, so I saved a few bucks there. Thanks for all the help man. I appreciate it.

I installed the Ridetech RQ series shocks, and while the ride did improve, it's still not great. Maybe I'm too picky, but I still notice a lot of resonation throughout the truck after hitting small bumps in the road. I was hoping for more, but at least now I have a good shock with a million mile warranty...

Do you think the Belltech lowering springs could be the culprit? The back feels fine, but the front kind of bounces around and gives a feeling of being out of control when going over bumps.

Starting to wish I went with drop spindles... I chucked the stock springs, no going back now.

I guess it isn't too bad. It's tolerable.

spindles and flip kit are the best way to drop a truck without affecting the factory ride. or a body drop... it wouldn't be hard to source a set of factory coils.

Yea, put a wanted ad up for a set of stock springs. Or heck, you can probably get a set from rockauto or a place like that.
