My 4l65e - T56 Swap - Could use some incite
Hey everyone
I have asked a few question over the year about t56 swap into auto trucks, and have collected all the info I need to get a really good understanding of how it all works. I wanted to swap 2 years ago, but ended up building my LQ9 and buying a FLT level 7 with a 3600 Triple Disc Circle D instead. Regretted it ever since I did it as I really wanted a 6 speed truck, But my TVS1900 Crew Cab chewed up its 4l60e, so I stole the Level 7 outta the RCSB and put it in the Crew Cab.....Perfect excuse to swap!
So I have collect a lot of the parts I Needed From GM
Pedal Assembly - 15027983
Pedal Assembly Bracket - 15713209
Top and bottom Column Covers to hide shifter - 26072994
Pedal cover - 15706041
Master Cylinder and Line - 15727261
Cross Member - 15748078
Switch - 15027967
I have also already gone through the paces and ordered a Tick Stage 3 viperized GTO T56. Trying to decide which clutch Im gonna run on it, Truck doesn't see alot of driving, only a few thousand a year, but i do beat the ever loving **** out of it.
Few questions I have tho. Looking at the pedal assembly, and clutch master, what is suppose to connect the pedal to the master? I see the master connects the to pedal assembly etc, but were the actual rod to the pedal goes theres nothing....what gives?
thanks for the help
Heres some more pictures of some parts lol
and the truck its going in is a H/C Lq9 sierra that some might know alreayd about

That master looks wrong, it should have a ball at the end that snaps into the pedal. Here is the one I'm using: Dorman CM350124 Clutch Master Cylinder : Amazon.com : Automotive There is a white ball piece that isn't shown, it's like a bushing between the master rod's black ball and the pedal.
And once you get it, do yourself a favor and make it adjustable. I lathed down some of the black plastic on the rod, cut the rod, tapped both ends at the cut, and installed a coupling nut so I could lengthen or shorten the rod it still installed.
