yeah that would be cool thanks for the help. i couldn't find all that in my search i think i spelled shortend wrong it came up with nothing when i used shorten lol

31 5/8" from center to center, the old OEM unit is 29 3/4.
The new fron has a twin u-joint set-up, kinda cool, looks strong, but its heavy!


I know the different of the OEM shafts and the modifided shafts is off by 1/8" but Mine seam to work O.K.

does anyone happen to know the gm part number for the 4L80E to autotrac NP246 tranny adapter? i have a 4L60E to borgwarner 4472 and the part number is visible installed....thanks.

part # is 15724745 roughly $50 from your gm dealer.

no, that's the part number for the transfer case adapter 4L80E->autotrac(NP246). the input shaft part # is 12386258.
