Default Monster Transmissions

Has anyone on here had any experience with Monster transmissions? The 4l65e in my truck is getting ready to take a crap on me and need to figure out what im going to do. I'm trying to figure out if theirs is worth saving the extra $200 compared to a Performa. Any input would be greatly appriciated.

many many many complaints of failure.
I'd put the extra money toward Performabuilt or FLT

$200 bucks more for a builder that you don't have to question. I can guarantee that if you ever have transmission issues both of these companies will help you and that Monster won't even say sorry.

x2... For only $200 more I would go with a Performabuilt.

The more I read and search on the internet, the more I believe yall are right. Just trying to save what I can, just really didn't plan on this. Of course it would happen after I payed the truck off 2 weeks ago.

Have you checked FLT's Holiday offer on the site? expires 2/28. Could be the $200 bucks savings your looking for.

The FLT 4l65e level 5 is $2050 the Performa heavy duty truck or extreme off road are both $1900. I probably need to call both shops and get a feell for what I need.

I have heard good things about performa- but I can say first hand that the internal parts upgrades list is longer with FLT. As for customer service, I bought a busted FLT and Vince, Chuck, and Andy have taken the time to speak with me about getting her back on the road. If they treat me like that, imagine how they'd treat a guy that drops a couple G's to them. Its safe to say, I'd go FLT !!!

You still have a couple days to get in on FLT's Holiday sale ...

Andy and Vince are great guys to deal with, they've been very helpful to me, I can't say enough good things about them
