Made the mistake of buying McGaughy's, now they won't help. Simple question.

I made a bad mistake and purchased a McGaughy's 5/7 kit for my '99. When the kit finally showed up from the vendor there were no instructions, and I couldn't find any online, so I kind of winged it and got it installed despite several issues like holes for the brake line brackets not being tapped in the spindle and very poor fitment of the c-notches. With no instructions we weren't sure what to do with the ball joint spacers that come with the kit, so we slid it into the open pocket in the control arm where the ball joint mounts thinking it must be there to reinforce the control arm when the ball joint is bolted on. When I got done the front was only 4" lower than stock and the back was 7", so I emailed both the vendor and McGaughy's to figure out what the hell is going on. Nobody ever emailed be back from either company. Phone calls to both companies are never answered and voice mails are never returned. My question is, do the billet spacers go inside the control arm or on top of it to move the ball joint up? I can see it going on top to move the spindle up another inch, but the bolts that came with the kit are not long enough to accomplish this, and that leaves an open pocket in the control arm, but if we installed it correctly and it goes into the control arm then I have some other issue with the kit (like getting the wrong front springs, which I will never know since I can't get a hold of anybody to help).
Thanks for any help!

Do you have a V6? This could be why your drop is only 4" up front.
Did you get the spindles for 16" wheels? This is quoted from there site
"Spindles for 16" Wheels Will Fit Larger Diameter Wheels As Well But Installation Requires Relocating Lower Ball Joint"
From what I've seen and read about, the directions are very vague.
PM thesuspensionsource, I'm positive he has answers for all of your questions.
This is why I chose Bell Tech, they have directions and are compete kits.
