Default Lowering Question

Just installed 2" bell tech drop spindles and used 3" McGaughys leafs in rear on my 2007 cclassic. I had the 2" shackles prior to the leafs to just level the truck out when it had the factory leafs. I left the belltech 2" shackles on with the new 3" drop leafs. Correct me if Im wrong but wouldnt that make it a 5" drop in rear? I didnt move it down a hole to take an 1" out to only make it 4" rear drop. My question is, wouldnt you think this would of leveled the truck out or made rear lower than the front? I took measurements and the rear is still not quite an 1" highed than the front. Does look good but does this sound right?

Sounds about right. My truck with a 3" drop in the rear and now a 3/6 drop sits perfectly level front to back.

hmm, maybe the spring needs to relax a little? my 2/4 doesnt sit level, and I dont think its only cuz of the staggard fitment. Im gonna pop the helper leaf out and maybe 2in springs soon so maybe it'll be level with the spring out?

On my 4/6 it doesnt sit quite level, I have a shackle on one side to fix the chevy lean. A lot of 2/4's don't either. The rear leafs might need time to settle a bit, and it also depends if you still have the rear bumper or a rear roll pan.

Im basically at a 2/5 drop now with the way its setup. I would think with a 2/5 instead of a 2/4 it would sit level.
