Default Loud Clicking From Drivetrain

Have an 04 silverado 4x4, started making a loud clicking sound from drive train a few days ago----I suspect it is transmission but cant really tell. It occurs sometimes on take off and sometimes after reapplying the throttle from coasting-----any help or ideas????????

torque converter?
Any sounds when your converter is locked, say cruising on the highway?

My first guess would be a universal joint. The OEM ones don't seem to last long in my experience.

Thanks guys, thats where I will start, and to answer the other question as far as I can tell havent noticed at cruising speeds just when reapplying the throttle-----girlfriend just told me today she had backed into a parking barrier the other day too, so probably is a U-Joint

tell her the barrier isn't there to let her know she's gone far enough. Its there to let her know she's gone Too Far.

Before you start replacing U-joints try greasing your slip yoke.
