Well that's a drop shackle for sure, gonna bet that there's a drop hanger up front too...did you happen to notice if the leaf springs are marked "Made in Mexico" on them? My factory ones are, not sure if they're all that way. As you mentioned, looks like you need a notch already.

I don't see any markings on the leafs also the front leaf mount looks stock to me. Lastly where can I order angled shims for the leafs to correct the rear angle? Guess I'm being a cheap *** and don't want to spend the 45o on the flip kit. There is a guy local selling a notch for 50$ on cl I'm going to pick up tm.

You can get the shims from summit or stylintrucks.com

This time I may have something more useful to say....LOL

I think your problem is not that you need a notch, but your shocks are just not doing anything to limit your motion, shock extensions or lowering shocks will stop you from tapping for the time being. The C-Notch kit your looking at, is it bolt in or Burn In?

You can see in the pics where the bump stop was taken out all together, so it was likely sitting on it or just about...I'd go for shock extensions or lowering shocks man...your gonna eventually need them anyway even with the C, something to limit your bounce, cause those stock shocks are way out of they're useful range.
