Default line locking

I have a 04 VHO Sierra. It will not line lock at all. Yo know when you hold the brakes and give gas. That is embarrasing and scary. Is that the torque managment at work or what.

that's called power braking.......a line lock is a device used to lock the front brakes for the burnout.

Yes, that's probably TM preventing you from doing burn outs.....a tune will take care of that.

Ok thats what I thought. Here is what I have or supposed to have.
LQ9 engine
K&N Intake system
80mm TB
comp cam 224/228 581 lift
pro magnum rollers, comp 918 springs, comp pushrods
pacesetter headers
true dual setup with twin 18' magnaflows dumped
And a tune from Nelsons performance and I stated I wanted all TM removed.
How can you verify if everything is done the way you want.

I'm not sure, but shouldn't you have a higher stall converter coupled with that specific cam? If you don't, that may be why you don't have the lowend there to do a burnout?

Make sure that "Brake Torque Management" is also disabled in your tune. BTM reduces engine power on ETC vehicles when your foot is held on the brake.

Yeah I do have a higher stall converter just haven't installed it yet but the truck should have enough to turn the wheels over. Hell my little 2.8 S-10 had enough to turn the tires over.
