Default Line Lock + ABS = issue?

I'm going to be doing a hydroboost swap this weekend and was thinking now is a good time to install a line lock. I planned to just install it on the front line (like normal) but when I searched on here people keep talking about ABS having issues with this, thus people installing their line locks on the rear. This seems odd to me since every line lock I have ever seen on an LS1 F-body was on the front and there is never an issue with ABS acting up.

So whats up?

Edit: I forgot to mention I'm converting to a T56 which means I need my left foot for the clutch so I can't be dealing with the brake pedal.

I'd put it on the rear for the simple fact that you'll have brake control. This way you can feather the fronts as needed.

I edited the main post. While I like the idea of being able to feather the brakes out of the burnout, I would rather be able to work my clutch.

Pop the clutch, and grab the brake real quick. I used to do this in my truck w/o line lock. Gotta be fast though. It's probably even easier sitting in the water box too.

Hook it the way you feel comfortable, but the only ABS issues I can imagine are the same that occur when you run a different size tire on the rear. The ABS detects a discrepancy in rotations and throws a code. It doesn't effect drive-ability though. Mine does it a lot at high speeds because of a difference in readings between my PCM and BCM after my gear swap.

i hooked mine up so you have no pressure to the rear brakes when its on works like a charm plus you can do very nice rolling burnouts

I've done it on a few different vehicles and no issues. Just do not hit the line lock and brakes while driving down the road.

I run the Hurst line lock and have had it for 3 years. If running the valve to shut off brake fluid pressure to the rear brakes, I would highly recommend a light above your toggle switch, so you remember to turn off your valve. Or you will not have enough brake to stop after a 1/4 pass. I had this happen.

A lot of guys run the Biondo Racing line lock, it has ports on either end so it can go directly in line without having to bend new lines, and can be had from Summit for about $39 IIRC
