if i weren't so far away i'd try to help you out. unfortunatly up here in the mitten state i'm not much help. i bet you could have used some of our air this weekend though. it's been 50-60 here.

Detroit Locker - 225S-10 - $354.00
Open Carrier - AAM 6258336 - $296.34

will I need anything else?

Those prices seem kinda high, but is has been a while since I sold one. I remember when the locker was $250 ans the case was $125!!! That was only about 4-5 years ago. I will see what they are going for now and let you know.
Who gave you those prices? PM me if you have to.


Edit- also you will need new bearings/races and ring gear bolts.

I second the bearings and races. I did re-use my ring gear bolts since they are not a TTY and I did not feel like tracking a new set down. No problems with that tactic yet.

Not to beat a dead horse but did ya call who I suggested? Might be higher but they were the cheapest I found for what I needed.
