Alright tell me about your personal experiences with drop control arms. I am looking for 2". Tell if it is worth it or should i get spindles. I know spindles are better but i have my reasons for not wanting to go that route.

i bought spindles once and did all the work and ruined my brake lines and almost killed myself. mainly like i said i need new ball joints but not even gm will sell me new upper joints. they say you have to buy the whole control arm they are 170 dollars a piece!!!!!! napa is the only place you can buy the ball joints and the ball joints there kinda suck. i have them on my truck. oh yeah by the way my spindles were of really crappy quality. i hate aim.

The OBS Belltech spindles were junk. Don't let that one bad experience turn you off on spindles.
I have had the McGaughys spindles for almost two years with zero issues and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to drop their truck. I've never heard of any problems with them. They won a SEMA award in 2003....it's unheard of for GM to give anyone an award for modifying their stock suspension, so it is obvioiusly a quality piece.
Now DJM control arms, on the other hand, I have heard of them breaking...
