Mine just went out, im assuming it didnt like the 600hp

I lost 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, i didnt have complete loss, but they began slipping real bad.

My question hoping its not a bit off topic, just didnt want to start another thread.

Can i just get a replacement at the junkyard, or is there a specific computer/module that needs to go with it that has to get reprogrammed, or can i just directly swap transmission?

Can get a junkyard unit but the tcm will still have to be reflashed, and it has to be a compatible tcm for the os you have, fairly certain the break point is 09, but good junkyard would know...

Correct. My 6.2 AWD Escalade footbrakes to about 2,200, and flashes probably 1,800-1,900 ish just stabbing it. Lock up is firm, shifts feel good. I just need a tune, then I am handing it over to my baby momma. It feels like it leaves quite a bit harder and spins the front tires. Very happy with the LSA torque converter so far (120miles, lol).

09 avalanche 6l80e with 91k miles on it, every once in a while it feels like under light accel that it forgets where 3rd gear is and kind jumps rpms between shifts.

I don't know enough if this is indicative of a physical problem. I will say my 6l80 in my Yukon Denali went from a strange shifting slug of a trans to something very nice when I paid to have a user on this forum tune it. Before the tune it would do things like you described. It's much more predictable and healthy feeling now. 140,000 on my 6l80 btw.

PM me if you want his username here.

I'd do an adapts resets along with cleaning the MAF sensor and get a tune on that thing.

I own HP Tuners have tuned a few of these 6L80e's now, the tune makes all the difference in how they run.

im actually getting ready to delete the afm and throw a small cam at it too, looking at the sonnax parts, which parts could i install without having to pull the trans itself?
