I would not reccomend baggin your truck. Mine was bagged on24's and I have just spent thousands of dollars getting it back factory. It's not worth it in my opinion. But I would recommend sending it to a shop to do it. Ekstensive metalworks in Texas does a great job.

Pick up a copy of Sport Truck or Street Trucks or Truckin. Most of their content is Bagged trucks. I am sure you will find plenty of info on where to find parts and shops that could get your truck to lay frame.

It all depends on how much money and what your goals are for the truck. There are guys with literally $30,000 into their suspension between a full custom bodydropped frame, powerdercoating and all the tubing to make it look wild.
For a regular build you can do a traditional 2-link setup. It is cheap and strong. You won't be able to hit corners and I think it's only a F/B setup meaning you can't hit sides(although it has been a while so correct me if I'm wrong).
Things like compressors, bags, line, air management, valves, etc all get expensive real quick.
If you want a cheap setup up front you can just run cups and put the bags on those or you can do all kinds of stuff from running shockwave replacements.
In this case there are tons of things you can cheap out on or buy quality. If you did a half-assed job and did it yourself it could be done for $1500. If you want quality parts plan to spend $3000 alone plus the cost of labor if you take that route.

My dually was done by ekstensive, all custom links/control arms, nothing off the shelve. I have given a lot of thought about doing it to my stepside as well, except I would be doing the work. Will be a while if I ever get around to it.
Anyways, randomhero is correct, you can cheap out on it and do it for about $1500, maybe less. If you trying to do it yourself and want most of it to bolt on, the KP Components 6 link is a great kit for the rear, and then you can do cups like mentioned, or look at air ride technologies shockwave front kit. Also like said, its all the little stuff like valves, tanks, compressors, wiring, switches (or switch box), fittings, etc that adds up. Think everything through and decide what you want and do it right the first time. It will cost a lot more to redo it later on if you cheap out now.
And, iirc, you can still hit a side with a 2 link, don't see why not anyways. It may not be as extreme of a side, but still should do it. If you want to be able to control each corner, you will need 8 valves. Minimum you will need will be 4
edit: And as for sites for parts, check KP Components, Air Ride Technologies, Suicide Doors, and AVS

gmfullsize.com has a lot of infor specifically for your truck. If you can fab I would suggest going that route, because I honestly think the KP (most common kit) is over priced, but if you're looking for direct bolt on it may be your only option. There is a lot to consider, check my thread, mines bagged. But then again completely one off.

I definately do not want to go the lesser quality route. I have seen alot of adds for alot of different set ups, and wasnt quite sure on what was a waste of time and money. I do plan on putting alot of quality time and money into my truck. As soon as I close on my house. Thank you for the info....once I get it set up I will post some pics on how not to get mad when installing airbags...
