sucks you had bad luck. my 60e never broke a hard part with 441 rwhp N/A and a 150shot. ran 11.5 and never drove on anything but slicks and drag radials. clutches on the other handhad to replace them a few times

so now i have a built 65e with a 4600 converter and a trans brake hahahaha.

No way I would put a brake in a 60e behind a heavy *** truck.

Yep been there..

I spin mine to 6800 on stock bottom end. First time out with the new setup I was short shifting and only running low 13's

To be fair 426 HP doesnt paint the whole picture... the stress this trans was taking off the line with your low 1.6 60' times was a LOT more than that HP number describes.

If you watch the videos this converter is showing him nowhere near 3400 of flash. Thats one of the bigger problems... but it was built with the huge power of a 200 shot in mind.

Sounds just like what mine is doing!?!? I have a FTI 3200 it will only flash to 2200. Can't figure out what the hell it the problem. I thought it was the first converter I had which was a YANK PRO TRUCK 3200. But put the FTI 3200 in there and it is doing the same thing. Putting a tru trac and a set of 4.10 in very soon. But my set up is. Stock bottom end 5.3 fully ported heads 216/220 560/560-114 lsa.
