Default killed my 4th 4L60

well i was goin down the free way when i decided to race my buddy. floored it doin 65 and then a loud thunk followed by a loud whine happened. ive got no gears forward or reverse. what do you guys think i broke? my first to transmissions were completely stock the third was bulit by a shaddy company and it blew so they sent me another one then i sold that truck. got the one in my sig and now i blew it last night it has 200,000 miles on it so im okay with it. a reputable builder from a couple towns over said he would build it to handle 450 horse at the crank with a new 2600 stall for $1,320 out the door with tax. my question now is is that before i had a 94 it was easy to pull. this one also is but how are y'all getting the plugs unplugged from where the shift linkage is connected. i took out the blue pin going through the plug but when i pull the tab back and try to dissconnect them i cant get it. i dont want to force it. am i missing something? also how does the front drive shaft separate out from the transfer case?

60es are good transmissions if treated properly, they are not dummy proff like the beefy 80e trans so you have to know how to take care of them. Also are not dummy proff when being built, there's only a few companies I would trust building them, performabuilt and finishline are top for me. Good tuning, good build, keep em cool, your good up to 600hp. However it sounds like you lost the pump or input shaft to me. Check the trans fluid after setting overnight before starting the truck, then start it and check again, it will show over full the first time and drop to operating level once started, if it does not drop to operating level then your pumps out.

I would not be surprised to see the input or output snapped.
