should 'feel' quite a differnce over the two- not sure of time though.

I hope to be soon going from 3.42's to 4.10's. I've got the gears, install kit and waiting for the true-trac to show up from cali...

i dropped .3 but i did 2600 yank, 3.42-3.73, tru-trac, deleted cats, retune and added 20s all at the same time. should be about the same for you with just gears and retune i would think

you will get .5 second in the 1/4 possibly even more. i went 3.42 to 4.10, and didn't feel it until I got retuned. It seems counterintuitive that you would need a tune for gears, but for some reason my truck wasnt running right with 4.10s out back on the 3.42 tune. Felt like it was pulling timing or something.

ok thanks guys! Best it would run last time I carried it to the track was 9.80s with 26" tall street tires that wouldnt hook on a stock 76 vw bettle. I think it would run 9.3s if it would hook with the 3:23s I'm hoping to run atleast 8.8s with the gears, tru trac and tires
