Default Jouncers/Bumpers

I just purchased new stock replacement jouncers (GM part # 15153958) for the front end of my Silvy. I've read several post and articles about drilling them as apposed to cutting (cutting is a no no) Any way, has anyone done this mod. Seems simple enough but the one article I read that had accompanying photos, the photos couldn't be viewed. It said to drill the first nub. My question is, when they say first nub are they talking about the mounting end or the end contacting the LCA?

On a side note... no amount of drilling is going to make a significant difference. I've been to the moon and back with the jounce stops... drilling, trimming, fresh, running none at all, blah blah blah. Just make sure they are ~1/4" away from the control arm at ride height and accept the fact that it's a torsion bar front end (which I assume you're lowering).

Or you could do this and get rid of the torsion bar and jounce bumper completely and lower it however much you want
