Default JET Powershift Controller

I was fingering through Jegs and wondered if anyone has experience with this. Its a tranny controller that wires inline with your tranny harness and has 4 settings for shift. From Stock to Race. I put one of these in an LT1 Camaro with my buddy years ago and I seem to remember it making quite a difference. Its $115 from Jegs. Just curious if anyone has experience or thoughts.

cough cough...JET screwed me cough cough stuck up, attitude, not our problem, we didn't say that F-er's! Sorry, had to say that. They cost me ALOT of money saying they were selling built trans when in fact there wasn't nothing built about it all. If your interested in just changing shift characteristics without the tuning head ache, muster up another 200 bucks and get a predator...you can definitely do more and get plenty of help here. Sad that forums will help you more than the actual manufacturer will. Good Luck

i think the wait4me tunes are less than 100. i believe they are a sponser also. personally i got a nelson but if you dont want to spend 400 then get a wait4me and you will get more performance out of it than just shifting.

Cool, good to know. Thanks. Yea I've been planning on making a Nelson Tune one of my first mods anyhow, so I guess the Jet thing is pointless anyway. Cant wait to give Allen a call Thanx Guys.

It raises line pressure, that's it. I think you will find plenty of testimony on here about the negative long-term affects of running 4L60-E's with increased line pressure. Basically, it wrecks the thrustwashers.
