input gear from a 241tc for a 149or 246?

Can I take the input gear out of a 241 tc and put into a 246 or 149 tc?

What are looking to do??? Is this for a 4L80 Swap??? There is a Guy on the SS forums that selles the 32 spline piece that goes in to the NV 149 case on the SS and I believe there using it on the NV 246 for 4x4 applications.

Yes its for a 4l80 swap was just trying to do it with parts I already have, so I guess I should sell the 241 and buy a gear?

well to be honest I have not heard of any one doing it the way you described but i was reading KYsilverado's swap and i am wondering if thats what he did...

I have an NV 149 and I would like to do the conversion myself for my project.
